Monogram For Nursery (or Any Room!)

When I found out I was expecting, I immediately went to Pinterest and started pinning different ideas for my nursery, including themed nurseries, but couldn't find a whole lot in the bedding department.

Source: Project Nursery

I stumbled upon Project Nursery when I was googling gray and pink crib bedding, where I found a cute idea for a first initial hung on the wall, and and just knew I had to recreate it!

Materials Needed:

  • Cardboard Letter (like this)
  • Flowers
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors (if you can't pull the flowers off)
  • Paint or ribbon to cover the edge of the letter

1.  Separate the flowers from the stems. I found mine at Michaels on sale, and just lucked out that I bought enough!

2.   Next, if you like to have things all planned out, lay the flowers onto the cardboard letter to see where each flower needs to lay to cover the entire front. You don't want to crowd them too much or the flower petals will stick straight out.

3.        Glue onto the back of the flowers and stick in place.
4.             After you get all the extra little glue strings off the front and the glue has dried completely, take paint or ribbon, and cover the edges of the letter that will show.

5. Let dry, then hang and enjoy! I used a bulletin board tack in the back and one on the side to keep it hanging straight.

Cute, easy decoration! How did yours turn out? Comment below!
