High Five for Friday

Happy Friday everyone! Wow, has this past week been a complete turn around from last week, and I'm so glad to be able to get together and share it with you all.

1. We started another home project and I'm dying to share with you! I'm hoping we will have it done for this next week, so I can share pictures. Let's just say it involves sand paper, a door, and some very bright paint :)

2. I took Juliet and we went on our first trip to the Farmer's Market yesterday. It went much smoother than I thought it would with just us two, and I scored some great things! My favorite? Homemade sourdough bread with jalapeño jelly. Sounds crazy I know, but it's amazing! It's a great mix of sweet and spicy, without too much spice.
Notice Bella waiting for me to drop something :)

3. I've been loving that it's cooled down again to the low 70s, so I took advantage and went on a long walk around town yesterday morning. There's just something about cool morning air that will get you going.

4. If you follow my Instagram,  you will have seen that I officially have a stander! Juliet is now pulling herself up on anything that she can get her hands on, and is army crawling everywhere. Needless to say, my life has officially changed. She's into everything!

5. I finally made my first green smoothie this week, even though we've been juicing for a while. Man, was I missing out! Seriously, it tastes like a milkshake but is packed with spinach. I'd say that's a win/win!

    1. It actually is! I used a banana, some ice cubes, about a cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk (I'm dairy free), a spoonful of peanut butter and filled the blender the rest of the way with spinach. I was really skeptical but you seriously don't even taste the spinach. I know people put Greek yogurt in also for more protein.

      Thanks for stopping by :)

    1. I haven't tried it on the go yet, but that's a great idea. I always seem to be leaving my house around lunch either forgetting to eat or grabbing a granola bar, which isn't very filling.

  6. Visiting from Oh Hey Friday! Your little girl is so precious! I love DIY stuff and am now following so I can see your reveal. Farmer's Markets rock, little known fact I used to work at one and grade fruits and vegetables. It was probably the easiest job ever!

    1. Thanks for stopping by! I'm definitely looking forward to showing everyone this next week! And that sounds like a great job. I just love the atmospheres of farmers markets so I think even that alone would make it a good job.
