High Five for Friday

Wow, is it Friday already? This week has seemed to fly by, even though it really wasn't super eventful on our end.

1. My mom and dad celebrated their 30th anniversary on Monday! They came up to our house yesterday and Juliet and I went out with them for lunch and shopping. It was so great to spend time with them and Juliet was an angel.

2. I'm planning a fun little at home date night for my hubby tonight! I got the idea from The Dating Divas, which is a great blog if you need some dating inspiration. I always am looking for things there especially around Valentine's Day, but they've got great things for all year round too! Make sure to check out Twitter and Instagram for pictures.

3.  My little girl is crawling all over the place now! That means I don't really get a whole lot done when she is awake, but it's so fun that she can come to you now. Of course, it also means a lot more sweeping. Who knew a microscopic crumb could be so interesting to a baby?

4.  I'm still trying to decide on a hairstyle because I desperately need a haircut. I think I'm leaning more towards the one above, but we will see.

5. I took an online class about essential oils last night and it was really so informative and interesting. It's definitely something I need to do some more of my own research about, but something I am looking forward to implementing in my daily life. Check out Casey Wiegand's website, you won't regret it!

Happy weekend all!

  1. We are in the crawling stages too! You're so right - every little crumb is examined. Also power cords and plugs in our house :) Have a happy Friday!

    1. Oh yes the power cords! I keep almost forgetting to unplug my phone charger, she seems to find it anywhere I put it!

    1. I do too! I've had it pinned forever, might be time to take the plunge.

  3. What a sweet photo of your parents on their wedding day! I love the long bangs/layers with that hair cut! I would love to learn more about essential oils-- I really don't know anything about them!

    1. Casey's website is really good, she had an online recorded class you can listen to anytime. It's about the Young LIving line of oils, but some of the info will apply to all oils.

I'm still in the beginning stages but it's so interesting!
