High Five for Friday!

Man, am I glad to see this weekend come! This week has been interesting because my husband is currently working second shift, so our whole schedule has been completely thrown off. It's actually been harder than I thought it would be, so I'm thankful that the week is drawing to a close.

1. I'm finally doing it! I will be heading to get my hair cut in a couple hours, and I'm so excited. I think I know what I want, but I will probably tell the stylist to do what she thinks is best. Make sure to check Instagram later to see the results!

2.I've had a love affair with my old Mr. Coffee espresso machine this past week. I don't know why it took me so long to try it out again, but I'm so glad I did. I even shared my favorite way to make a latte yesterday!

3.  Jay has the day off today, which means that not only do I get to go to the salon, but I will be making my first ever stop at Nordstrom Rack today. I desperately need a dress for a casual wedding next weekend that's nursing friendly, so fingers crossed.

4.  I got to spend some time with my aunt last night, which was so needed. We are very close and it was nice to just have a break and talk. It definitely left me feeling refreshed.

5. My poor pup has seasonal allergies. She is sneezing like crazy. I am getting her a much needed grooming on Monday and I think it may be time to get her an allergy shot too. I'm hoping that will do the trick, she seems miserable.

How has your week been? I'd love to hear!

Today I'm linking up with The Lauren Elizabeth, The Diary of a Real Housewife, Meet @ the Barre, and September Farm.

  1. Oooo can't wait to see what your new hair looks like! I never really decide on what I want until I'm with my stylist too haha.

    1. It's definitely different than I've had it in a long time. It's fun sometimes to just let them do what would look best! I'm posting a pic on Instagram soon if you're curious :)

  2. Oh I'm jealous you get to go to Nordstroms! We don't have one here, and I have the WORST luck with online shopping! Have a good weekend!

    1. I just found out we had one! Definitely good prices. I could've bought about 5 kate spade purses if money wasn't a factor!

    1. It definitely was a miss for me this time. I saw things I liked, just nothing that worked for what I need right now. Plus ours seemed to be a lot of teen or older woman style clothing, not a ton of in between. Great accessories though!
