A Quarter of a Century

So, the end of last week got off to a bit of a rocky start.  Our internet went completely down in our area, so I was unable to get a post up for Friday. By time it came back on we were gone for Juliet's doctor's appointment and running errands. At that point it just didn't seem worth it to post so late.

This weekend was such a wonderful time spent with friends and my family. Jay and I celebrated my birthday this weekend by going to the Franklin Park Conservatory. It was beautiful and a great place to go as a family! Not to mention the food was delicious.

They have blown glass pieces all throughout the conservatory, and Juliet was just absolutely fascinated with them. It was so fun to watch her really studying all the things we saw.  She especially liked the koi pond.

Saturday night we built a fire after little one went to bed and has some time together. I'm so glad the weather is finally settling into cooler nights.

And today is my 25th birthday. It feels really weird that just a year ago I was expecting my little one, and two years ago Jay and I were getting ready for our wedding. Time really does fly!

I'm just really unbelievably blessed for all the things that happened in the past couple years.

Staying on theme, this week's posts will be all about birthdays. Make sure to check back throughout the week for some fun projects, a free printable, and maybe a wish list or two!

How was your weekend?

    1. Thank you! They had the butterfly exhibit going on, so it was pretty great. My husband has lived here his whole life and has never been there! We definitely want to go back :)

  3. Caitlin,
You are looking so good! You look happy too! Motherhood can be rough at times but it seems like you have already figured out it is well worth your time and scrimping to be home with your beautiful little girl!! keep up the good work!

    1. Thank you :) I really appreciate that. And it's definitely worth it to sacrifice to be able to stay with her!
