High Five for Friday

Hi friends! Thank goodness for another weekend on the horizon. This week has really tested my limits. Nothing all that special, but just being sick and having a teething baby has really taken it out of me. So let's get started!

1. I'm just about finished with my 3rd week of my 12 week fitness challenge and man does it feel like it's been dragging. I'm really having to make myself workout. Eating clean has been the only thing that has really saved me this week.

2. I'm getting so excited for Christmas! I know, I know, I shouldn't be already but I can't help it, it's my favorite time of the year.  I'm looking forward to doing all sorts of fun projects and posts for the blog.

3. Last weekend was my first time ever going to Hobby Lobby. Best. Thing. Ever. I don't know why I've been spending my time at Michaels and Joann's, I could buy half the store at Hobby Lobby. May be the reason I'm so excited for Christmas, too.

4. Jay and I got away for a date night last weekend at Bonefish Grill. It was great to have some time to ourselves, even though we still talked about little one. We ended up at Dunkin Donuts sharing some coffee and just talking after dinner. I'm so glad that we finally have one nearby! I used to go all the time when I lived in Cincinnati and I missed it.

5. We went on a walk yesterday to enjoy the nice weather. We are so lucky to have some great metro parks nearby. Juliet loved the nature center! I think it was something about the fish being on her level.

How was your week? Id love to hear!

  1. I went to Hobby Lobby for the first time two years ago. I still remember it--I texted my best friend and told her that I had found heaven and it is called Hobby Lobby! Haha!

    1. Not at all. I feel so bad for her, too, seems like such bad luck to get 5 at once.

  3. I well remember my teething babies. It can be so exhausting. Enjoy every moment though, because they grow up so quickly. Mine are now teenagers. And, I went to Hobby Lobby for the first time last Christmas. It was a dangerous place... I found you via Diary of a Real Housewife.

    1. Thanks for stopping by! Yes, it is very dangerous! Especially for Christmas, because if I had an unlimited budget I would probably buy something for every nook and cranny of my house. The decorations are beautiful.

    1. They are so easily entertained! I took her jogging and she loved it. It's great to think of everything as new :)

  5. There's nothing worse than the double whammy of being sick and having a teething baby. I hope you both start feeling better soon! And how on earth do you make it this long without visiting a Hobby Lobby?!!lol

  6. Ohhhh I can totally buy EVERYTHING at Hobby Lobby! It's relatively new to me too - my BFF/co-blogger M has one that opened by her house recently, so whenever I visit her we always make a point to do a shopping trip there together )

    1. I kind of feel like it may turn into my "me time" place! I can totally see myself with a cup of coffee wandering the store. Well, and probably leaving spending a BIT more than I planned :)
