2015 Reading Challenge

While I was surfing through Pinterest, ya know like I do all the time sometimes, and found a great reading challenge through Modern Mrs. Darcy.

Since I've had Juliet, I haven't been reading nearly as much as I used to,  so I have been trying to find a good way to get myself reading more again. This challenge was the perfect way to do that! It's 12 books in 12 months, well, 11 since I'm starting a bit late but still totally doable.

Here's the list of my picks for this challenge:
Book I've Been Meaning to Read: Say Goodbye to Survival Mode by Crystal Paine
Book Published this Year:
Book in Genre I Don't Typically Read: Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt
Book from my Childhood: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
Book my Mom loves: Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
Book written in a Different Language: Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
Book "Everyone" has Read:
Book Chosen because of the Cover: Bella's Gift by Rick and Karen Santorum
Book by Favorite Author: A Casual Vacancy by J. K. Rowling
Book Recommended by Someone with Great Taste: A Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Book I Should have Read in High School: Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Book on the Bestseller List: Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

I am starting with Bella's Gift, a story about Rick and Karen Santorum's daughter that has Trisomy 18. It's such a fast read already and really moving.

I've still got a few that I am trying to pick out, but I'm really excited to have a list of books that I've been meaning to read and an old favorite, too!

Would you like to be a part of this challenge with me? Let me know your choices in the comments!

  2. This sounds like a great challenge. I am doing the ABC Reading Challenge. Although, I need to get my butt reading cause I am falling a bit behind in my book goal. Oops.
