High Five for Friday

This week completely flew by. Is it possible not to be ready for the weekend? I mean, I know, crazy! Who wouldn't want the weekend? But seriously, this week went by so fast that I really haven't gotten done the things I planned. Oh well, maybe I'll catch up this weekend!

This week's featured blogger is Jayme from Simply, Always, Forever. I especially like that she does a monthly Pinterest link-up! Something like that is right up my alley, so I'm excited to make a project and join in on the fun. Make sure you check out Jayme's blog!

Now, for my 5:

1. I'm slowly getting back into the swing of eating healthy and working out on a regular basis. Since I started my job just about a month ago, I've only been working out probably 3 times a week. I'm hoping just getting back into the rhythm of everything is the reason why I've been so beat lately.

2. It is absolutely frigid and I cannot stand it. Sigh. I know everyone else has the same thing going on for the most part, but man, when the walk from your house to your car and back makes you want to sit in a hot shower for an hour,  that's just too stinking cold.

3. We had a great Valentine's Day at home. Juliet had her first sleepover ever with Grandma and Grandpa, so I cooked a yummy dinner just like the one I first cooked for Jay. We watch old movies, drank wine, and just had some time to be together without any worries. It was exactly what we needed!

4. I got the cutest little sign for our laundry room in honor of the renovations that we are going to be starting very soon. Hobby Lobby, of course, and on sale to boot!

5. I desperately need a day at the salon. My hair is sad panda. I don't even remember the last time I got it cut (yikes!) and I'm ready for a change. Here's a few of my fave choices so far:

How was your week? I'd love to hear from you!

Just write a blog post about 5 things that made this week awesome! It could be 5 memories/highlights, 5 pairs of shoes you wore, 5 “good job” comments you got, or 5 pieces of chocolate you scarfed down when no one was looking.

  4. Hobby Lobby has the best signs. The one you got it super cute! I need to get my hair done too, I just can't decide if I want a trim or cut shorter. Love the hair color of the first photo!

    1. Yeah I always like to go shorter, but my hubby likes it longer :) I love the color of that one too! Just trying to decide whether it would be too much upkeep or not.
