New Spring Hair: A Change of Pace

To say that I was ecstatic when I was able to get into my stylist last minute on Friday would be an understatement.

I put off getting a haircut for about 6 months (yikes!) because I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with it. When I did decide I wanted to change things up we weren't really in the position to be paying extra just so I could change my hair.

The color is looking a slight bit more red in the side view photos than it really is in person. (The woes of shooting with your phone.) But I'm really loving the color! I haven't had my hair colored since before I was married, so it's definitely a nice change of pace.

Now that I'm working again, I was pretty surprised when I got in so quickly.

Can I just mention that I suck at taking before and after photos? I think about it all the way up to the time and then just get too excited and forget. Here's a couple phone photos in the last month or so, you can see it's a big difference!

Do you like to change up your hair during the warmer seasons?

  2. LOVE it! It looks so great! I've been itching to do something different with my hair too. But, I always panic at the last minute and end up just getting a trim.

    1. I was like that forever. And I added bangs, but basically we just trimmed the rest of it. I think color is a great way to change it up even if you don't get a dramatic cut!

  5. The color is pretty. I like to go shorter in the summer months, and, I already have short hair. Here in the south the humidity is awful so anything to keep the hair from the frizzes helps. Started following you on bloglovin. Sweet bio!

    1. Aww thank you! I will be sure to follow back! Yeah, the humidity can be bad here, but not nearly as much as when we travel down south. I don't envy you on that one!

    1. Thank you! I never know what to do, I brought in a few different things and just told her to do what she thought would look best. I spent a little more than normal, but it was worth it bc she knows what she's doing!
