10 Projects I'm Dying to Try

Hey everyone! I'm so excited to get to share my second week of my new "10 Things" blog series. This week is 10 projects I'm dying to try.

1. Decorating my cubicle at work.
I've gotten a few things so far, but it is still so blah when I'm stuck there all day. I'll be ordering some cute pictures to hang and brighten it up, also.

2. Tshirt transfers cut out on my new Cricut.
I sadly still have not gotten my Cricut out. I have been reading about it, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. That's going to change tonight! I can't wait to show you my first try.

3. Making Juliet a tulle dress for her birthday party.
We're doing a beautiful fairy tale party for our little princess, so of course she needs an adorable dress to wear to her party.  Check out my Pinterest board for all the ideas we've found for her party so far!

4. Hand lettering a chalkboard for my picture wall.
I've always loved the hand lettering that people do on their chalkboards, so after investing in some chalk pens, I'm looking forward to giving this a try.

5. Hemming/hanging curtains in my living room.
I got a wonderful deal on curtains for my living room months ago,  but I've been having a hard time finding rods. I'm determined to get those up and finally really finishing out living room.

6. Making roman shades for my laundry room.
We redid our laundry room a while back, but I've had a hard time finding something that I like and that won't break the budget. Hello, Pinterest, and a great, affordable way to put up cute curtains!

7. Papering the back of my office bookshelf.
I found the cutest quatrefoil to paper the back of my bookshelf from college to make it fresh and more cohesive with what I want my office to look like.

8. Painting the desk in my office.
Another fun but cheap way to update my office without having to buy new furniture. I love this color scheme!

9. Redoing my outdoor wood furniture.
Another great way to update the look of our outdoor living area without having to spend a ton. The furniture has been weathered, but it's still in great shape. All I need to do is a little sanding and some painting and it will look great.

10. Making homemade lotion.
I found a great recipe online involving coconut oil, vitamin e oil, and some lavender essential oil. I love using coconut oil as a moisturizer, so this will be a wonderful treat for my dry skin.

What projects are you most looking forward to doing? Did you have 10 things you shared this week? Let me know in the comments!
