High Five for Friday!

Welcome back to another week of H54F! Katie at Cup of Tea, Tif at Bright on a Budget, and Della at Della Devoted are so glad you are here.

Our featured blogger this week is Trish from Tales from Trish. She's newer to our weekly link up, and we are so glad to have her! I love that she crochets, the blanket that she made is adorable. I hope one day to have her skillz 😊 Make sure to check her blog out, and give her some love!

Now for this week's 5:
1. I've had my first week off from classes, and although it's been wonderful, I've been fighting off something so I've basically been sleeping the majority of my down time.

2. I started new blog series called 10 Things on Wednesday. Check it out and please join in next week!

3. Did you know that curtain rods are stupidly expensive? I'm all about getting a deal, but $100 on curtain rods when I didn't even spend that on the curtains? Yep, not happening. Let me know if you have a good place to look!

4. Juliet is slowly working on potty training again. Yesterday Jay looked away for a minute, and Juliet decided to go potty. This is the result:

5. I'm beginning to work on the disaster that is my home office/studio space. I've been putting it off because I've had so much going on, but now I'm so excited to get it clean and functioning again. Plus I've got a few decorating projects I'm excited to try up there 😊

How has your week been? I'd love to hear!

  2. That picture of Juliet is hilarious! Definitely one for the books. And I'm with ya on the curtain rods. Curtains themselves are not cheap, so why should the rods cost twice as much?! I would check HomeGoods or Marshall's/TJ Maxx, maybe Target if Cartwheel is having a deal. I've had decent luck at Goodwill before, too! Hopefully you find some that don't completely break the bank :) Happy weekend!

  3. That picture of her in the toilet is a riot! I hope she doesn't make that mistake again! :) And yes, curtain rods cost a fortune! We recently moved into a place with way more windows but I couldn't bring myself to shell out that much money, so I just bought cheap tension rods from WalMart. They're not beautiful but they get the job done!

  4. Ugh, potty training. The whole process intimidates me. But that picture is hilarious! Horrifying, but hilarious. I'm with you on the office redo. Ours is a disaster. I need to get up there to organize it, but I don't wanna.... As for curtain rods, Ikea has some really simple ones. They're pretty, but nothing fancy. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
